Langtang Valley Ganja La Pass Trek
The Ganja La Pass is one of the most challenging passes in Nepal. This wedge in the Himalaya is situated at an altitude of 5160m. Our Langtang trek takes you over this pass as you make your way south from Langtang village, which lies at 3500m and where the national park headquarters is located. The route from Gyang in Helambu, require crossing the 5106m Ganja La. The pass is blocked by snow, so local inquiries about its condition, good equipment and mountaineering experience are necessary for safe crossing the Ganja La Pass. The Helambu village excludes a Tibetan feel and you will see a field enclosed by stonewalls as wellas herds of yaks, the most important animal for the people here. From Tarke Gyang, we descend to Melamchi Khola before climbing to Pati-Bhyanjyang, then trek to Sundarijal. We drive back from Sundarijal to Kathmandu.

- Licensed holder English-speaking trekking guide
- The required number of local staff and porters to carry your luggage during the trek (We assign one porter for every two guests.)
- Food, accommodation, salary, insurance, equipment and medicine for all staff
- Langtang National Park permits and TIMS permit for trekking
- Down jacket and sleeping bag by Ace the Himalaya (which need to be returned after the trek)
- Public bus transfer from Kathmandu to Syabru Besi and from Melamchi Pul Bazaar to Kathmandu
- Sightseeing/Monument entrance fees in Kathmandu
- All our government taxes, vat, tourist service charges

- Lunch and dinner in Kathmandu
- Travel insurance which covers emergency high-altitude rescue and evacuation
- International airfare and airport departure tax
- Nepal entry visa; you can obtain the visa easily upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu (Tourist Visa with Multiple Entries for 15 days can be obtained by paying USD 25 or equivalent foreign currency. Similarly, Tourist Visa with Multiple Entries for 30 days and 90 days can be obtained by paying USD 40 and 100 respectively. Please bring 2 copies of passport size photos.)
